Moms Love Rosé!
This Mother’s Day, treat Mom to a delicious rosé! These tasty, refreshing wines are perfect for warm spring and summer days, and for showing her just how much you care!
Chateau des Annibals Rosé
As the story goes, Hannibal the Conqueror came through the valley of this estate with his elephants and a 100,000-man army sometime around 200 B.C. on his way to attempt to conquer Rome. No one now knows whether the account is true, but the estate has been in the same family’s hands for several centuries, and the owners have long been named Annibal in reference to the Carthaginian conqueror. Time has passed; the name remains. This is a classy Provence rosé, with clean, crisp, delicate fruit flavors.
La Crema Pinot Noir Rosé
Brand New from La Crema! La Crema’s consistently tasty Monterrey County Pinot Noir, now in a rosé! Aromas of raspberry, strawberry, and hints of fresh citrus. Flavors of fresh red berries, watermelon and mandarin orange are complemented by undertones of minerality. Delicate, crisp and vibrant.
Gerard Bertrand Cote des Roses
Everyone’s favorite flower-shaped bottle is perfect for Mom! Inside the bottle, it’s just as beautiful! A soft, pale, brilliant pink with bluish tints developing over time towards more orangey nuances. The bouquet releases aromas of summer fruits, cassis and redcurrant. Floral notes of rose along with hints of grapefruit complete the picture. The finish is fresh, offering notes of candy. On the palate the impression is fresh and full, with great aromatic persistence and balance.
Moet & Chandon Nectar Imperial Rosé
If Mom loves bubbles, she’ll love Nectar Imperial Rosé! This fine Rosé Champagne combines opulence and freshness with intensity and smoothness. A touch of sweetness amid lively fruit make this sparkler a beloved favorite.
“A fresh rose, displaying flavors of raspberry, fig, tangy cherry and smoke, with well-integrated acidity. Focused and harmonious, with a spiced, lip-smacking finish.”
