Color: Great intensity of color with a young and vibrant purple hue.
Aroma: Intense fruity and spicy nose, plenty of blackberries and plums, with ripe and sweet notes. Hints of vanilla, chocolate and blond tobacco.
Palate: Great structure with a lot of fruits and balance. It is also elegant with marked but soft tannins which provide a great volume with a slightly smoky and at the same time fruity, long and persistent finish.
Perfect for grilled meats, barbecue, mushrooms, sausage and lots more. grilled teriyaki tuna steaks with fluffy jasmine rice will be terrific. aged, smoked Gouda cheese and a crusty peasant bread.

The judges for the competition described the 1865 Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2011, as an “ambitious and elegant wine, with notes of guava and maracuya. Flavorful, with hints of savory minerals, good acidity, and citric notes blend beautifully with vibrant vanilla aromas. White floral notes and strong concentration”.Color: Almost transparent pale yellow, young, with green shades. Aroma: Intense and delicate nose. This Sauvignon Blanc stands our for its freshness and complexity, mainly marked by citric fruits, such as grapefruit and lime, tropical fruits, and mineral notes. Palate: Freshness on the palate, fresh fruits, well-balanced, mineral, good acidity and volume with a long finish.
Ideal to pair with oysters, spider crab and all kinds of shellfish.
