“Tineta” Tinto Fino
Ribera del Duero – Burgos, Spain
91 Points – Robert Parker
90 Points – Stephen Tanzer
A beautiful 100% Tinto Fino (the local name for Tempranillo) from the celebrated Ribera del Duero region. The nose is peppery and full of ripe blueberry and dried cherry aromas. Fresh, lively, and spicy at first, this wine gives way to a richer, more mature smoothness provided by 7-month aging in three-year old oak barrels. This is a perfect match for some serrano ham and Manchego.
